Some 20 hotels today, some 50 by 2025: as part of its global expansion, Yotel will add Geneva to its list of addresses from the fourth quarter of 2022. This innovative concept, originally known for its capsule-style hotels in airports, has since developed in the heart of major cities, including Amsterdam, London, New York and Singapore. To make its entry into Geneva, the brand chose an ideal location for business travel, with an establishment very close to the airport.

Caviar House Airport Premium-Suisse, which operates several food and beverage outlets in the Geneva hub, including three Caviar House & Prunier boutiques, has partnered with Yotel for this establishment. A partner that will make the establishment more than just a place to sleep. Caviar House Airport Premium-Switzerland is also one of the region’s leading catering companies and will develop a unique 2,000 square meter space within the hotel, dedicated to work and meetings, but also to relaxation.

With its contemporary Nordic architecture, the place, named HYGGE, intends to offer a warm Danish atmosphere, notably through a Nordic-inspired restaurant, bar and café. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the space will welcome business and leisure travelers, as well as local residents, at any time. ” HYGGE will also offer extensive meeting and work spaces, equipped with the latest technology and perfect for hosting international business meetings, organizing sophisticated events, and an ideal environment for freelancers, entrepreneurs and small businesses to work and meet

,” describes Peter G. Rebeiz, CEO of Caviar House Airport Premium – Switzerland.

In addition, guests will also be able to enjoy a state-of-the-art 1,000 square meter fitness center and 237 designer rooms, all equipped with the signature SmartBed and as always packed with technology and connectivity. As the Yotel concept is based on small rooms, the brand will offer two categories in Geneva with larger spaces, the First King and VIP rooms.

Yotel is accelerating its development

Before this opening, scheduled for the end of the year, the brand will have opened several other hotels in 2022, notably in Miami, where two establishments are expected to open in the spring in the heart of Downtown, with, one above the other, a classic Yotel and the long-stay YotelPad version. This same combination of short and long stay is also being prepared in Dubai, with a double establishment to be opened soon, as well as in Atlanta and Long Island City, the latter two establishments being planned for 2024. The brand will also open a YotelPad in Melbourne and Brussels in the coming year.

Well established in

n the hotel landscape, the brand now intends to accelerate its development through franchising and the conversion of existing hotels. This model has already enabled Yotel to establish itself in Porto, Park City and Manchester last year, at the corner of Deansgate and John Dalton Street. The latter project saw the takeover of the former Qbic Hotel, a brand positioned like Yotel for cabin-type rooms. This made the transformation easier.

After Manchester, Yotel will use the franchise to offer a second address in London from April, in addition to the one already open in the City, in the Clerkenwell district. This time, Yotel will discover the fashionable Shoreditch district. Located a stone’s throw from Bethnal Green tube station, the hotel will offer 161 rooms, including double and connecting rooms, as well as a bar, a restaurant and a coworking space. No doubt that the many creative start-ups and entrepreneurs of the neighborhood will quickly take over the premises.
