W Hotels will open in Milan in 2024, in the heart of the fashion district.

After opening a hotel in Rome at the end of last year, in two 19th century palaces near the Spanish Steps that have been given a contemporary makeover, Marriott International has announced the signing of two new projects in Italy. As the capital of fashion, Milan is a natural destination for the brand, which will be located in the heart of the fashion district, just a three-minute walk from Via Montenapoleone and not far from Piazza del Duomo. The future W Milan – Duomo is housed in a 1920s building that is about to be redesigned by two big names in design, Yabu Pushelberg and local architects Stefano Boeri Architetti. A rooftop bar, outdoor terraces, a trendy restaurant, guaranteed relaxation with a spa complemented by an indoor pool and fitness center, 166 rooms and 36 suites, including a WOW Extreme suite: the W integrates all of its signature elements with the goal of making the hotel a new icon in Milan’s hotel offering.
W Hotels’ dolce vita also comes to Naples
In Naples, the brand will play on the contrast between the charm of a historic building, whose facade will be preserved, and a cutting-edge design by the renowned Rockwell Group. Located in Piazza del Municipio, in the heart of local life and a few steps from the Molo Beverello port where you can leave for Capri and Pompeii, this former bank will host a limited number of rooms, 78, including 17 suites with private terraces for some of them. Also on the agenda is a branded restaurant, the W Lounge, and a fitness center.
While the lifestyle brand is also announced in Florence, these new developments will expand W Hotels’ footprint in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. After a recent opening in Dubai – the W Dubai – Mina Seyahi
