A range of over 14,000 km, a cruising speed of 980 km/h. But above all, an elegant exterior and exceptional interior luxury. The aircraft is the Bombardier Global 7 500, considered to be the largest business jet in its category and, above all, offering the greatest range.

And it is this aircraft that has joined the fleet of the business aviation company VistaJet

. “This is the flagship aircraft in our fleet and we are particularly proud of it. It’s an aircraft that offers exceptional performance and a product that is looking for its equivalent in other aircraft,” said Simon Rochefort, Vice President of VistaJet France.

The Bombardier Global 7 500, an exceptional aircraft

The company, the world’s largest international operator with more than 70 private jets, has already received four Global 7 500s: “Our first aircraft arrived in our fleet 18 months

We expect to receive eight more aircraft for what will be one of the largest Bombardier Global 7 500 fleets in operation,” says Rochefort.

The highlight of this elegant aircraft is its exceptional comfort. The aircraft is completely silent and has low fuel consumption. It can even fly on the new bio-fuels.

The service on board is the best you can get on a business jet. One of the VistaJet-branded aircraft has a bedroom with a real fixed double bed and en-suite bathroom. A lounge with a large high definition television is ideal for meetings in the sky. The rest of the cabin has fully reclining chairs and a table that can be used for individual seating. Or it can be used as a six-seater table for a meal or a meeting.

“Such comfort can serve all types of passengers, from company executives to VIPs or even families on a trip,” says Simon Rochefort. Such a jet (whose price is around 72 million dollars) can certainly be rented at a higher cost than other aircraft at VistaJet. But the extra cost, estimated at 30% to 40% by Simon Rochefort, is worth it. Especially since the Global 7 500’s range allows it to fly non-stop to destinations that would be impossible to serve with a conventional jet

“This aircraft should be an excellent asset for VistaJet with demand increasing as a result of the lifting of travel restrictions – particularly to the United States,” further analyzes the Vice President of VistaJet. <

Simon Rochefort refers to a “golden age” to describe the incredible health of on-demand air travel. “We are witnessing a catching up process since the deconfinements in the world, which translates into an irresistible need for many to fly. Particularly for business. And the post-covid era has resulted in many more companies deciding to take the step of using a business airline. Because the latter is able to offer a logistic capacity corresponding to the needs of the companies,” he says.

This last point alone explains the ‘golden age’. VistaJet and other business aviation providers are offering companies a way out of the regulatory and time-consuming bog of scheduled air travel. Tails at airport security filters that result in flight delays, lack of air frequencies due to Covid. All of this is giving VistaJet wings.

The company is thus expecting a likely very good year 2022. “Of course, China, Japan or Russia will still be missing because these countries have locked the rules of travel in the face of the Covid crisis, “said Simon Rochefort.

“But on the other hand, the United States and other intercontinental markets are once again present. We are already seeing more demand for business flights on the North Atlantic than in 2019. New York, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco are the most popular destinations. But also Dallas or Austin in Texas, where many companies have recently settled because of the advantageous tax conditions”. An optimism that feels good…
