The Ambasciatori Venice Mestre, future member of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
The Tapestry Collection by Hilton continues to expand in Europe. After Paris, Madrid
and Porto, the brand of upscale and lifestyle hotels is adding another great destination to its offer: Venice. Or more precisely Mestre, on the other side of the lagoon, for a hotel aimed at both tourists and business travelers, as the land side of Venice and its port is an important logistics and industrial hub.
This entry into the Venetian market is made possible by the franchising of the Ambasciatori Venice Mestre, located 800 meters from one of the busiest train stations in Italy. For the occasion, this four-star hotel, well known in the world of cinema and television, will undergo a renovation to regain its past glamour, mixed with contemporary design. When it reopens early next year, the hotel will offer 83 rooms, a bar and a restaurant, as well as a fitness room. As a business destination, business clients will find a 100 m2 space dedicated to meetings and events, divided into three rooms.
The new hotel joins three other Hilton hotels operating in Venice under the Hilton, DoubleTree and Hilton Garden Inn brands. ” This addition to Venice demonstrates our commitment to developing destinations across Italy, with seven new hotels expected to join the Hilton portfolio in the next 12 months,” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development for the U.S. group’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Among all these projects, another concerns the Tapestry Collection brand with the planned opening this year of the Cosmopolita Hotel in Rome, the Italian capital also expecting a new Hilton hotel in the EUR business district, the Hilton Rome Eur La Lama, directly connected to the La Nuvola
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
