A last door is closing in Europe for flights to and from Russia. The President of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis, has indeed activated on Monday the ban on Russian aircraft to fly over and serve the Swiss territory.

The airline Swiss is therefore also banned from flying to Russian territory. It was still the last company in Western Europe to be able to fly to Moscow or Saint Petersburg until yesterday. It thus follows the rest of the EU carriers

In Europe, there are only a handful of airlines offering flights to Russia. In particular Air Serbia and Turkish Airlines, the governments of Serbia and Turkey have not suspended flights. For how long?
