La marque Andaz s'est installé dans un bâtiment historique du centre de Prague. The Andaz brand has moved into a historic building in central Prague.

Andaz, Hyatt’s luxury lifestyle brand, has a new hotel in Prague, its fifth in Europe after Amsterdam, London, Munich and Vienna. Also marking the American hotelier’s first foray into the Czech Republic, Andaz is deploying its design bias and interpretation of casual luxury in a historic building dating from the early 20th century. Originally the headquarters of the Insurance Association of the Sugar Industry, hence the nickname “Sugar Palace,” it has been converted into a trendy hotel, including a lively cocktail bar and a restaurant that bridges the gap between Czech bistronomy and Japanese-style grilling.

Located on Senovážné Square, close to the Josefov and Nove Mesto districts, the hotel is within walking distance of the city’s main tourist attractions. In addition to a state-of-the-art fitness center, the Andaz Prague offers 176 rooms and suites, including spacious Residence Suites and a 130 square meter Penthouse Suite.

Business travelers and event planners will also find a flexible 150-square-meter conference and reception space, Andaz Studios, consisting of three rooms that can be combined into one venue. With its high, ornate ceilings, oak floors, and large windows that let in light, the space evokes the days when local sugar barons used to meet here in the early 20th century, and lends itself equally well to board meetings, intimate dinners, and gala evenings.
