Expected to open in 2022, the Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Hotel will have 300 rooms and suites in a strategic area for business travelers.
For its new address in a business destination as popular as Shanghai, the Accor group has opted for a strategic area, in keeping with the brand’s high standards. The Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Hotel will be inaugurated next year in the North Bund district, with a breathtaking view of the famous banks of the Huangpu River. A district that is taking advantage of the urban reorganization of the megalopolis to establish itself as a new leading business centre. A district which is also preparing to see a vast 2,000-seat theatre set up right next to the Sofitel
… The Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Hotel will feature a rooftop with an unobstructed view of the destination.
This new member of the Sofitel family, which will open its doors thirty years after the brand’s arrival on the Chinese market, should quickly establish itself as a top-notch business address, particularly for business travellers. The 300-key establishment will be spread over 25 floors, including an “executive” zone dedicated to Club Millesime.
The Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Hotel’s wellness offer will be based mainly on the Sofitel Spa and a Sofitel Fitness, which is announced as being ultramodern. As for the gastronomic menu – always a strategic axis for the brand made in France – it will be supported by ” a world-renowned chef
“, the project managers have already promised. The whole thing will be crowned by a rooftop bar, which should become an essential meeting point given its immediate proximity to the Bund.

I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
