The SNCF’s new telework package makes its debut at the start of the new school year.
Presented at the beginning of June, at the same time as its new leisure fare policy, the SNCF’s telework offer came into force on 1 September. The “Mon Forfait Annuel Télétravail” subscription meets the new expectations of all those professionals who have moved away from the big cities, in search of a better life balance, to work remotely for part of the week. According to the company, it also affects infrequent commuters, who currently use their cars due to the lack of an attractive train pass offer.
In this context, as announced in June, the price of this new offer represents a 40% reduction compared to the classic Mon Forfait Annuel subscription. Thus, for a Paris-Lyon journey, mobile professionals will have to pay €343 per month for second class travel, compared with €572 with the Annual Pass.
Valid from Monday to Thursday – Fridays are often the most teleworked days – the Mon Forfait Annuel Telework offer includes 250 journeys per year, eligible for all TGV Inoui and Intercités destinations in France. Passengers can subscribe up to the 9th of the current month, with validity starting the following month.
Customers who already had another pass – annual, monthly or weekly – and who have since reduced the frequency of their journeys due to teleworking, can choose to switch to this new offer, while continuing to benefit from the flexibility of their tickets, the Guaranteed Exchange even on a full train, and the management of their reservations on the TGV INOUI Pro app.
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
