Two aircraft based, 35 destinations this winter and for the summer 2022 season. Ryanair

has become an important player in air transport in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The investment for this new base, which opened in November, amounted to $200 million. The carrier has added 17 new destinations to the network it already operated from the Baltic metropolis.

Among the new destinations, Beauvais airport north of Paris is now linked by two weekly flights. In Paris, however, the company is in competition with Air Baltic which offers a daily flight from CDG.

Ryanair also offers three weekly flights to Charleroi airport south of Brussels. Here again, it competes head-on with Air Baltic, which serves Brussels Zaventem airport (more central) up to six times a week.
