From Paris-Orly, Transavia is already announcing its plans for this summer. From 27 March 2022, several new routes will be added to the network from the main French base of theAir France low-cost subsidiary.

For the time being, these are routes to Bilbao, La Palma, the Azores (Ponta Delgada), Yerevan, Glasgow, Ljubljana, Podgorica and Skiathos (in Greece). From Lyon, the airline also announces a weekly flight from January 29 to the end of April to Stockholm Arlanda.

This increase in capacity will be accompanied by the integration of new aircraft. While the fleet will consist of 50 aircraft this winter, 11 more Boeing 737-800s will join the Transavia fleet next spring.

There is also talk in the Dutch press of a possible Transavia Netherlands base in Belgium at Brussels Zaventem airport. Discussions about a base in the Belgian capital are still ongoing. If it becomes a reality, Transavia would base two aircraft.
