Known for its five-star boutique hotels in Paris and in the provinces, Maison Albar Hotels is about to take an important step in Africa with the announcement, during the World Tourism Day in Abidjan, of three establishments expected in Côte d’Ivoire in the coming years. These hotels are part of the country’s tourism strategy “Sublime Ivory Coast” and will strengthen the diversity of the country’s hotel offer by playing on several niches. Thus, from 2022, a Maison Albar will be installed on an artificial island in the Ebrié lagoon, a project developed in association with the Société des Palaces de Cocody. A futuristic project in a paradisiacal place for a House appropriately named The Garden of Eden.

Another lush setting near the Ivorian capital, Boulay Island, will see the appearance in 2023 of a luxury lodge, Maison Albar Natural Resort, with a friendly and sustainable concept. Finally, in 2025, the group will move to the Plateau, Abidjan’s major business district, with a five-star hotel offering around 100 rooms, a bistronomic restaurant and a spa.

These developments are part of the international expansion of its parent company, the Centaurus Group, founded last year and an offshoot of the Paris Inn Group launched in 2005. Its offer now includes a dozen restaurants and 35 hotels, mostly in France, notably in Paris with the Maison Albar Champs-Elysées, but also in Nîmes with the Imperator. This presence in France will be reinforced by the opening of Maison Albar Le Victoria in Nice in early 2022, followed by a hotel in Chamonix, Le Couttet, and another in Colmar, Le Chasseur, both planned for 2024.

In parallel, the Maison Albar collection was already represented abroad with the Monumental Palace in Porto and two hotels in China, in Chengdu and Guiyang. A country where two new hotels are expected soon, in Changsha and Guangzhou.
