Vueling has just announced two new flights from Paris Orly this winter and the extension of the Orly-Asturias route launched this summer. The latter will continue to be served with two weekly frequencies. Vueling also plans to launch two more flights per week from Asturias (Spain) to Amsterdam

on October 30. The flights will be operated by Airbus A320.

From Paris, the most important novelty will be a connection between Orly and Cairo. Vueling will offer two weekly flights and will face competition from Transavia, already present on the route from Orly. Note thatAir France

and Egyptair also offer daily flights on this segment – however from Paris-CDG.

Finally, Vueling is taking over a route formerly served by Ryanair from Beauvais. Starting September 12, the Spanish carrier will operate on the Paris-Shannon route to the west of Ireland. There too, Vueling will offer two weekly flights.

In addition, Vueling has changed the check-in times for its flights outside the Schengen area. Since July 1, the company closes the check-in procedure 60 minutes before the departure of the flight.
