The Holiday Inn Dublin Airport hotel has over 400 rooms.
The Holiday Inn family of brands – Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express – continues to expand near European airports. Earlier this summer, the IHG Group strengthened the offering of these functional, low-cost brands with a hotel located a five-minute tram ride from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, the Holiday Inn Express Nice – Grand Arenas. Last August, a Holiday Inn was added a short distance from the terminals at Dublin Airport
. And there are more developments to come in the vicinity of these key business travel hubs, starting with a 122-room Holiday Inn Express expected next year at Ankara Airport.
2023 will also be prolific, notably in Spain with two Holiday Inn Expresses in the works near Seville and Madrid Barajas airports, the latter with an outdoor pool, bar and restaurant in addition to its 156 rooms. Also in 2023, the budget brand will be located near one of the main Italian hubs, Rome Fiumicino. The Holiday Inn Express Rome Airport will have 224 rooms aimed primarily at mobile executives, as it will be located in the Parco Leonardo business center. ” These recent signings and openings at major airports in the market are a perfect demonstration of the popularity of these brands with guests and owners
,” said Willemijn Geels, vice president of European development for IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Less frequented by business travellers, Manchester Airport, not the British metropolis but the main city of New Hampshire in the United States, has also seen the arrival of an Even branded luxury wellness hotel. Located just under three miles from the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, the hotel caters to both transit passengers and visitors to this city of art and culture, including the Currier Museum of Art, home to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Zimmerman House.
For those seeking relaxation as well as business travellers looking to maintain their fitness routine, the Even Hotel Manchester Airport has a fitness area in each of its rooms, in addition to a large fitness studio, an indoor saltwater pool and a variety of healthy food and drink. The hotel also has a meeting room and a 200 m2 event space.
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
