Gulf Air’s A320neo
continues to expand its intercontinental network in Europe with a very specific positioning as a “niche carrier”. The national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain will inaugurate four new destinations. These are Manchester, Milan, Nice and Rome.
Only Milan will benefit from five weekly flights from June 1 from Malpensa airport. The aircraft used will be a brand new Airbus A321neo.
Gulf Air will also launch two weekly flights to Manchester and two flights to Rome Fiumicino on June 1. The airline will operate a Boeing 787-9 to the British city, while Rome will also benefit from the A321neo. Finally, Gulf Air will inaugurate its Bahrain-Nice route on June 2. Two weekly frequencies will be offered by A321neo.
In addition to the new destinations launched during the summer season, the airline will resume operations to Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, Malaga in Spain, Sharm Al Shaikh and Alexandria in Egypt, and Salalah in Oman. In total, Gulf Air will serve 14 European cities during the summer season. Gulf Air’s European scheduled network also includes Athens, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Larnaca, London Heathrow, Moscow and Paris CDG.
For Europeans, Gulf Air offers a wide range of convenient and fast connections to the rest of the Middle East and Asia. Passengers benefit from the comfort of Bahrain’s brand new terminal building. Inaugurated last year, it can handle 14 million passengers annually.

I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
