The Fairmont Windsor Park will officially open its doors on January 1st.
The proximity of Windsor Castle and its Grand Park, manicured lawns, a residence dating from the last century: it is an eminently British and infinitely elegant setting that the Fairmont
brand, which also manages the prestigious Savoy in London, is preparing to offer its customers, whether they are tourists or business groups. Currently in the pre-opening phase, the Fairmont Windsor Park is beginning to receive its first guests before its official opening scheduled for 1 January next.
The result of the takeover of the Savill Court Hotel, announced at the beginning of 2020, this new hotel of the Accor group’s luxury brand is primarily intended as a chic retreat for weekends in the countryside in a refined setting conducive to relaxation. ” We wanted to create a sanctuary for those who wish to escape the stress of modern life
,” says Surinder Arora, founder and chairman of the Arora Group, which owns the hotel. A destination in itself with a strong health and wellness dimension.
In addition to the top-of-the-line sports facilities and outdoor tennis courts, there is also a state-of-the-art spa which, in addition to 18 treatment rooms and an indoor pool, houses a five-person cryotherapy chamber, the first of its kind in the UK, as well as a 4D body scanner for customised health checks. On the beauty front, the hotel also has a hair salon and has partnered with The Facebible, which specialises in beauty services and skin rejuvenation
However, being located close to Heathrow Airport and central London, the Fairmont Windsor Park is also very welcoming to business travellers with its 200 rooms and suites and its wing entirely dedicated to events and meetings. Highlights include 15 sophisticated meeting rooms and a pillarless 800m2 ballroom that can accommodate events for up to 700 guests. In fine weather, events can be extended outdoors, with the ground floor boasting a private terrace and direct access to the hotel’s gardens.
As for dining, the hotel offers a multitude of options with seven restaurants and bars, some of which focus on farm-to-table like 1215 at Fairmont Windsor Park, others on European and Middle Eastern fusion dishes like Moreish or the well
The hotel also has a Tea Room, a gin bar and the Library Club, a cosy setting for meetings and private events during the day. The hotel also has a Tea Room, a gin bar and the Library Club, a cosy setting for meetings and private events during the day.
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
