EurowingsA Eurowings aircraft

Starting in July 2022, customers of Eurowings

airline will benefit exclusively from Miles & More, the frequent flyer program of the Lufthansa Group.

Members of the program will thus enjoy numerous benefits that are not usually available to customers of low-cost airlines. For example, they will be able to earn and redeem miles at around 40 airline partners and over 150 non-airline partners. But also they will be able to earn miles when shopping in more than 500 online stores, redeem miles when booking hotels and rental cars.

This transfer to Miles & More strengthens Eurowings’ positioning, giving it a more hybrid status than that of a low-cost carrier. By transferring our customers to the Miles & More world, we are not only offering an attractive frequent flyer program, but also another clear differentiation from low-cost competitors,” said Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings.

End of Boomerang Club on June 30, 2022

The Eurowings Boomerang Club will be discontinued on June 30, 2022. Until then, customers can continue to earn Boomerang Club miles on all Eurowings flights and with program partners. The miles earned can then be redeemed for a Eurowings award flight for up to twelve months. As of July 1, 2022, Boomerang Club miles can also be converted into Miles & More miles.

Eurowings credit cards from Barclays will remain valid and can still be used. Customers can continue to earn Boomerang Club miles for purchases until June 23, 2022. New provisions are to be adopted to allow the collection of Miles & More miles after that.
