Facade of the future Eklo Montpellier.
Eklo will open its tenth hotel in Montpellier in June 2023, continuing the expansion of this economic, ecological and lifestyle brand. Three new establishments are expected to open this year, in Paris CDG
and Lyon at the end of the year, and in Toulouse in June, in a building that could not be more eco-responsible, as it is integrated into an innovative wooden building, the Wood’Art tower.
For its second address in another key metropolis in the Occitania region, Eklo will convert an office building into a hotel ideally located for business and leisure travelers. This project is part of the renewal of the area around the Saint Roch train station, a historic district undergoing a complete transformation.
In this context, Eklo remains faithful to its low-carbon strategy, as the rehabilitation of the site will be carried out according to a virtuous process. Located in the city center, near the Place de la Comédie, the hotel will offer 110 rooms ranging from 10 to 25 square meters, large common areas designed by Studio Janréji, a restaurant and bar, a meeting space, as well as a patio and a terrace.
While Eklo has set a goal of 40 hotels within 10 years, other developments are expected in major French cities, starting in Paris at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center.
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
