Hyatt Group to open Andaz Condesa Mexico City in late 2022 The
Andaz Condesa Mexico City hotel will soon be the second representative of Hyatt Group’s luxury and lifestyle brand in the Mexican market after Mayakoba, and therefore the first in this top business destination: Mexico City
. The property, which is the result of a management agreement with Grupo Murano, will be located in the trendy Condesa district in the southwest of the megalopolis, not far from the business district along the Paseo de la Reforma. It will be located in the “I421” complex – formerly Conjunto Aristos – and will have 213 rooms and 20 suites, plus a fitness center, a spa, and one of the highest rooftop pools in Mexico City. Business guests will also have access to dedicated meeting and event facilities, details of which have not yet been released.
Andaz’s move to the Mexican capital is part of Hyatt’s expansion in Mexico, as Camilo Bolaños, senior vice president of development and real estate, said: ” This project allows us to thoughtfully expand Hyatt’s footprint in the region and create meaningful opportunities that meet the growing demand for luxury offerings in Mexico for upscale travelers and locals
. Indeed, projects expected in the coming months include the opening of the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes in late 2022, the Thompson Monterrey Hotel in the summer of 2023 and the opening of the Park Hyatt Mexico City in 2024.
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
