Aperçu du futur hôtel Eklo intégré au site de Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.A glimpse of the future Eklo hotel integrated into the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles site.

Bringing life to the Porte de Versailles outside of professional and general public events, weaving links with the city and its neighborhood: as part of the modernization of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Viparis had undertaken to expand the range of services offered to Parisians as well as park visitors and travelers passing through by turning to the hotel industry. This strategy took shape at the end of 2019 with the opening of a Novotel and a Mama Shelter, as well as Le Perchoir,

a trendy restaurant and bar on the roof terrace of pavilion 6.

This development will continue at the end of 2023 with the addition of a budget hotel offering within the exhibition center. For the occasion, Viparis has chosen a hybrid concept with a predominantly ecological focus, that of the Eklo brand, which will be the first hotel in Paris. The establishment will offer 304 rooms, a restaurant and a bar, a rooftop with a panoramic view, as well as meeting rooms for business clients. ” This new hotel offer, embodied by Eklo, is in line with Viparis’ strategy of diversifying the range of hotels at the Porte de Versailles while offering a new lifestyle experience,” said Pablo Nakhlé Cerruti

, CEO of Viparis.

A warm and contemporary design, a diversified accommodation offer between solo, duo and family rooms, but also dormitories, shared kitchen: Eklo embodies in its own way this new wave hotel business at affordable prices and in the spirit of the times. And this is all the more true since its concept is based on eco-responsibility. The future hotel will be equipped with water flow reducers and energy savers, while the kitchen will use local products and avoid waste through a collaboration with the start-up Too Good To Go. The building will also feature high environmental performance. Designed by the Valode & Pistre agency, in charge of the master plan for the modernization of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, it is aiming for NF HQE Bâtiments Tertiaires certification, at excellent level, and BREEAM International New Construction 2016, at very good level.

This future environmentally friendly establishment, a true flagship for Eklo, will be a new lifestyle address, open to all, design and friendly, to come and have a drink, eat, work and sleep, at very attractive prices,” said Emmanuel Petit, president and founder of Eklo. The brand, which has seven locations in France – in Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Le Mans, Le Havre, Lille, Marne-La-Vallée

and soon in Toulouse – is expecting two more openings this year, in Lyon and Roissy.
