The launch of the new Connectair service by Air Transat

will enable the Canadian carrier to better conquer markets where it is still absent. Connectair is a virtual interlining platform. Users of this service can combine Air Transat flights with those of partner airlines such as easyJet and Avianca. This will allow them to travel to more destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South America. Other partners will gradually join the platform. They will contribute to improving the range of destinations.

With Connectair by Air Transat, we become the first Canadian airline to offer a virtual interlining service. This platform allows us to expand our reach with trusted partners and offer consumers a simple and efficient shopping experience. In total, we are adding more than 135 new destinations to the 60 or so we already offer in the Americas, Europe and Canada. This new service, perfectly aligned with our network development ambitions, allows us to better meet the needs of our passengers. It will also allow us to expand internationally, in anticipation of the increase in demand in 2022

By making a single reservation on connectair.airtransat.com, travellers can access a wider range of destinations thanks to the technology developed by Dohop. Dohop offers the best connection options and low fares, depending on the city of departure and destination. The booking also includes a guarantee in case of flight delays or cancellations, ensuring that travellers arrive at their destination as soon as possible. This guarantee, called Dohop Connect, will offer replacement flights, at no extra cost, in case of problems.
