Lounge of the Citadines South Vienna.
The Ascott Group has just opened its first Citadines in Vienna. This opening illustrates a strategy that is now focused on franchising, since this residence is owned by c-view, a management company specialized in hotel real estate. ” The development of Ascott in Austria with a franchise partner is an important step in the expansion of our European and global network,” said Ngor Houai Lee, managing director for Europe of The Ascott Limited, the parent company of the Citadines and Lyf
brands, among others.
For its entry into the Austrian market, the Citadines brand has set up shop in the 10th district of Vienna, in the south of the capital. The district, also known as Favoriten, offers quick access to the city center by public transportation, but the location of the Citadines South Vienna is especially attractive for business travelers. Close to one of Vienna’s largest business districts, Wienerberg City, the city residence is just minutes away from the headquarters of companies such as Coca Cola, Microsoft and L’Oréal, while being close to numerous restaurants and stores.
The Citadines South Vienna has 48 studios and apartments, all with kitchenettes, air conditioning and flat-screen TVs, some with balconies. Among other services, the apartment-hotel also offers a fitness area, laundry facilities and weekly cleaning. The residence also features lively common areas with a lounge equipped with a piano, a pool table and a library, where guests can relax and enjoy a snack in the snack area. In addition, business travelers will find a business corner equipped with charging stations, a printer, a copier and a scanner. Built with sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials, the residence’s parking lot is equipped with parking spaces for electric cars with charging stations.
I’m Michelle, and I love to travel. As a former hotel expert for one of the world’s largest hotel chains, I’ve stayed in nearly every type of room imaginable (including many that were not so desirable!). Nowadays, I am fortunate enough to be able to explore the world on my own terms. From international flights to learning different languages, there is nothing too far out of reach!
